I’m actually not a Luddite, nor am I technologically challenged, I’m not even slow-witted. You see, when I set out to create an Excel worksheet on Tuesday night (or was it Wednesday morning?) I realised that our new laptop didn’t have Excel installed on it, so I then did it on my Desktop computer. After I created it, I then thought hard and long about what to do in order to get it to you. Obviously, if there was no Excel program on the laptop, I could still send the file to our gmail address, but I wouldn’t be able to check the format it had arrived in, etc,etc.

Excel has been installed now and all is again well.

Attached is the status of affairs in the Teams Championship after one month, with another 6 to go.

For the uninitiated, both teams 1 and 2 are in the lead with 20 Victory Points, and after handicap adjustments, the leaders are team 2, followed by teams 1,5,3,6 and 7.Team 4 had a bye in the first round.

Thanks for bearing with me during my long-winded opening paragraph, now I’m going to get back to my Abacus and go through my finances for the month.
