We had an oops today, because someone unnamed fiddled with the finicky computer at teatime, causing us to lose the rolling screen and the inputs from the bridgemates were going into the server, but not to the computer.

Thank goodness, however, for Priscilla, the Queen of the Desert, that computer expert of note, who just read the instructions and put us back to where we should have been, and there you go, all is well!

I’m writing this from the hall at Northerns, accompanied not by Troy this time, but by my ever loyal Deputy Chairman, Ian. Just a pity that he doesn’t like walks and is averse to doing things like walking at heel and chasing rabbits and things.

Seriously, though, please note that I will be keeping an eagle eye on the computer in future, and will be shouting at anyone who goes near the mouse or moves the old thing in any way at all.

NOBODY MUST TOUCH THIS COMPUTER IN FUTURE !
