For those of you chickens who weren’t at Northerns tonight, we can tell you that we played in the Ladies Bar, where the club has ‘amped up’ the lights, making it an absolute pleasure to play there at night, plus, the fire in the grate warmed the room beautifully.

Those of you regular Tuesday night players who didn’t pitch up tonight missed a really good ambience and great hands. Tough, but there you have it!

I’m just too cold to think of anything funny this late, besides which the taps are once again dry at Village Walk, meaning there’s no hot shower tonight.
