Bridge Results 29 Jan 2019
Well, well, there were some long suits and there were more long suits! Some were played perfectly, some not. There were some very strange results, with some very strange bids. Just an inside bit of humour, which Bill,Jan Ian and myself took part in; sometimes an approach is truly an approach!
On to the results, where Paul and Bridie came in first with more than 70%, followed by Judy and Heather, then a three-way tie for third.
The AGM will take place tomorrow, starting at 1200, followed by bridge at the normal time.
Be there, please!
It’s your club.
Country View is looking like a bit of countryside this morning, blue skies, a promise of rains to come, geese a’gaggling, Flamingos strutting in cadence and Troy has had his walk. All is well. Tea-time has arrived, along with home-made chocolate-chip biscuits. Tomorrow is Thursday, my best day of the week, bring it on.
My quote for today, after listening to Mr Aggrizzi on TV over the last two weeks;
” Hell is empty and all the devils are here”
Shakespeare, The Tempest.
See you all tomorrow,
Roy
