What a good day, what a pleasant day, with visitors streaming in the door. Nine full tables, good bridge and some new acquaintances.

Well done indeed to Bridie and Paul for an excellent 72%, followed by Ian and Roy second and the visiting pair of John Calvert and Margaret Leatherbarrow a close third. The visitors certainly made their presence felt, with Pete and Giulio fourth as well.

By the way, I think I’ll alternate those winners’ names in future, for instance the next time they win I’ll say Paul and Bridie, then Bridie and Paul and so on…hmm. Then there’s Helen, who seems to win with just about anybody, so I can do something there as well, just a bit of creativity that will make my emails a little less boring. Yes, well, enough of that.

The club championship is now standing at 9 tables confirmed, so please get your entry in on time. We will be closing off at 12 tables.
