A record for a Tuesday evening? Certainly the most tables we’ve had for many a year. Seven and a half, call it eight! It’s getting exciting to see so any of you on a Tuesday and the year has only just begun!
We had a little oops with the program tonight, because at the end of session there were numbers of scores missing from the program score sheets. I duly took all the travellers home with me, expecting to have to score the missing results manually, but fortunately I was able to retrieve the missing results from the server, so all is well!

That rather good pair, Messrs Wilkie and Verberck, did it tonight, followed by Ingersent and Roberts, then England and Goldman in third. Why the surnames? Well, I thought I would get a little more formal tonight, seeing that there are a few quite senior citizens amongst them. Just respect, I suppose.

Remember please, any of you that aren’t involved in the Teams tournament won’t be able to get a game next Tuesday.

Regarding next Monday afternoon, I am arranging for a Teams event to be played in the Ladies Bar for those of you who are interested. I am reliably informed that Neels has got a team together and so has Gloria. I am also able to form a team with Caroline and Marianne, together with Ian and myself.
That makes three teams thus far, so I need firm commitments from whoever else is interested so that I can plan for Monday. Unfortunately we need an even number of teams in order to make it viable, so late entries might have to be excluded. I will also address this on Thursday, but get your entries in to me at royhayward654@gmail.com.
