Bridge Results 19 Sep 2017
We had 4 and a half tables tonight, with several of our regulars missing for reasons unknown. Pity, because there were some very interesting hands, a slam or two, some doubled and made, some doubled and not made and all of that and some!
The top pair tonight was Ros and Cathy, followed by Ian and his partner. Ian was heard muttering about some of the antics that his partner got up to, including a revoke, but nevertheless still managed to scrape into second place. Ah well, such is bridge!
We have 8 confirmed tables thus far for the club championship, so keep your entries coming in! We want at least 12 tables, we want the bridge to be memorable and we want to crown the best pair on the day as the champions!
We also want to have a great day together with camaraderie, good food and maybe a little drink or two.
