There were only 11 pairs who arrived to play today. I wonder why? Did some of the usual suspects stay at home to sunbathe? Who knows?
Anyway, 22 hardy souls pitched up, despite the terrible winter weather, and enjoyed some really good hands.( Winter weather? )
And so to the events of today.
Guess what!
That terribly inconsistent pair of Helen and Barbara just managed to scrape in, by 4.5%, followed by Pat and Deirdre.
Well done ladies! The cream rose to the top again!
