We kicked off the year with eight and a half tables, great bridge interspersed with maybes, possibilities, angry exchanges, friendly exchanges, nice to see yous, Happy New Years and all the other bridge stuff. Great to be back, isn’t it?

Bridie and Paul did it with style today, followed by a dead heat for second between Margaret and Ann, and Ian and Roy, both with just under 60%.

The bridge noticeboard I mentioned today has now been set up. I am just testing it right now, with an option to get notified if someone posts a message, so I will let you all know when you can use it and then give you the password.

And remember the AGM, which is at 1200 on the 25th January, two weeks time. And think about what I said today about us starting a Benoni Northerns Teams event, at least monthly and hopefully more often.
