I was perhaps a little disappointed that there were only 9 tables today, but in a strange way also a little relieved after last week’s hectic goings on!

Only 9 tables?  What’s wrong with that, you might ask!  Well, I suppose that we just start aiming a little higher and expect more and more players each week.

I love this club and everything we stand for and also for the joy I get out of seeing different players rising to the top every now and then.( At first I said “coming up trumps”). It was exactly that today, with Yvonne and Gloria scoring a great 64%, with Tico and Bram a close second. Well done indeed to you and to everybody who competed today.

I’m now going to send today’s results to the Master Point Register, follow up on the cricket score, watch a movie and go to bed, in that order.
