Bridge Results 1 Jan 2017
Welcome to the new year everybody. We had three and a half tables tonight, but as it was the first Tuesday of the year, we didn’t expect a full house. Anyway, that same boring couple of Paul and Bridie did it again, with a great 72.5%, followed by the usual suspects. Ian and Roy won the magnificent 50% jackpot, which is rumoured to be in the thousands by now, so they will accept the money next week with good grace.Oh, if that were only true(the thousands!).
On a sad note, we wish to pass on our sincere condolences to Tico and her family on the passing of Oenie. The funeral will take place tomorrow, the 4th, at 1400, at the Benoni Cemetery in Main Reef road.
