Vacancy Notice BNSC Club Manager
Applications are open for a Club Manager at Benoni Northern Sports Club. Benoni Northerns is a vibrant and energetic Sports club, based on the East Rand of Johannesburg. The Sports Club offers various sports including Athletics, Bridge, Cricket, Hockey, Football, Rugby, Baseball, Tennis and a very active Social section. We are passionate about Sports and strive to be Jewel of the East Rand
THE POSITION
Benoni Northerns Sport club requires a Club Manager, to ensure the effective and efficient running of the Club.
The role will encompass management of advertising, fundraising, public relations, and the management of the bar & staff.
It requires the management and hosting of the members, patrons and events.
The position requires flexible working hours with weekend and evening work as and when required. This is a full time position with the salary dependent on the candidate.
THE PERSON
The person will initially be appointed on a probationary period.
You will need to be well presented, be a people’s person and have a minimum of matric, have a superb verbal & written command of language, be proactive and being able to manage firmly but with respect. Experience of Sports Administration is required, even if on a voluntary basis.
Suitable knowledge of sport and various sporting codes is a must.
Own transport is essential, be extremely organized / punctual and will need to be self-driven.
