NEW Ascendancy ladder Mar 2017
Hello there all you bridge lovers, this is something new, which we hope you will find interesting and inspirational to you to improve your bridge.
We have had a request for a ladder to be published, showing performance of pairs over a specified period. For this to be representative, it was decided to extract averages from our Scorebridge program, covering six months as a rolling average, For pairs to be represented on this ladder, they have to have played at least 5 times during the previous six months.
The main reason we are going to produce this ladder every month in future, is to prepare ourselves for a situation where we might have to play two sections at some time this year.
If we have to play two sections because we end up with more than 12 tables, then we will simply apply the ladder status at that time in order to grade the two sections into, say, an A and B section.
Attached is the first of these ladders, covering the period from September 1st, 2016, to March 2nd, 2017.
