2020 AGM
Dear Club Member
Please note that the Benoni Northen Areas Sports Club annual statutory reports for the financial year ended 29 February 2020, which incorporates the clubs notice of annual general meeting (AGM) of members, to be held on Thursday 20th August 2020 at 19:00, will be available below.
Alternatively, an electronic copy of the report can be requested from the Club’s General Manager, Rod Scheepers, at rod.scheepers@hotmail.com, or collected at the club’s office from 09h00 to 12h00’s Monday to Friday.
The Executive Committee believes that the safest way to hold the AGM and to still allow members their right to vote and ask questions at the meeting, is through a combination of electronic participation – by addressing their questions to their respective sub club chairmen prior to the meeting, or voting by proxy, should the need arise.
Sub Club Chairman plus 5 additional Sub Club members, per Sub Club section, will be allowed to attend in person, to put any questions you may have, to the Executive Committee. Their names to be provided to the Club General Manager at least 48 hours prior to the AGM.
This is a result of the impact of Covid-19, the resultant health distancing imperatives, legal restrictions, the official advice on gatherings and movement and the health of members and stakeholders which is of paramount importance to the Club.
