Bridge Results 8 May 2018
Yes indeed. What happened to some of us? The cards were somewhat up and down, depending on what one received. But for some of us, the writer included, the cards were a bit unkind. You know what I mean, don’t you? ( “He’s just rambling on, working up to where he makes some kind of inane excuse about why he played so badly, so just ignore him”)
What’s that, I should just get on with it? Yes, of course, the results! What was I thinking!
That talented pair of Di and Barbara got it right last night, winning with a score of 59,52%, followed by Heather and Judy with 56,35%. Well done, ladies, you obviously didn’t have any problems with cards or bidding or playing the contracts you bid, did you?
And, finally, thank you Bernie for a pleasant evening of bridge, even though we didn’t exactly set any records in the process. Another night, another set of cards, who knows?
A happy Wednesday to you all.
