Bridge Results 15 Aug 2017
OH what a night, 15th August,2017. The results!
A great night for that most challenged pair of bridge players, Bill and Jan. They scraped a win with a modest percentage of 71.25%. Not bad!
Then came Trish and Lisa, with 57.5%, then the rest of us mere mortals.I suppose that Bill and Jan have probably had worse evenings, probably not many better evenings, and some of us have had better evenings, probably not many worse evenings.
Say no more!We’ll be back in the main hall tomorrow and from next week, we’ll be playing in the hall again on Tuesdays as well.
I’m going to partake in a late breakfast now. I feel I need it after the massive mental strain of last night, a night to remember with fondness.Your somewhat chastened chairman and twice weekly purveyor of good and not such good news,
