Bridge Results 13 Jul 2017
Then it was Thursday, a good day for bridge lovers in Benoni. Amidst the banging and dust and construction activity outside, we quietly went about our thoughtful perusal of our randomly dealt cards and came up with some bids that defied belief and some that were profound!
But, that canny pair of Helen and Barbara were totally focused (what’s new!) and came up trumps. Pardon the cliche. Cathy and Ros were a good second, followed closely by Jill and Vanessa in third place.
The weekend beckons. The tennis from Wimbledon will be fascinating, rugby fans will be focusing on the last round of Super Rugby matches and then it will be next week.
We’ll all meet again on Tuesday and Thursday and the good fight will continue to fascinate us.
