The last Thursday of the month was good for some, moderate for others and not so good for others, including yours truly and partner. Apologies for the late start, but I just had the wrong movement loaded, which had to be cancelled and reloaded. Anyway, all’s well that ends well, and here are the results.
Well played, Cathy and Ros (Is that Roz?), for a good win, followed closely by Deirdre and Pat, then Bridie and Paul.

You’ll recall the offer to aspirant players to come and learn to play Bridge. Well, I’m happy to tell you that we will be running Monday afternoon classes, from next Monday, under the tutelage of Lisa, with at least 6 people already enrolled and ready to start playing. These are all beginners so we would ask you to send anyone else, who might want to start playing, to one of these sessions. We are very excited about this new venture and hope to see it bear fruit. There will be a modest charge of R25 to play, per session, which will include refreshments.
