First, a big thank you to everyone who brought eats. Also a big thanks for everyone who helped with the layout, the tables, the cleaning up afterwards, and just for being there and joining in for the last Thursday of the year.

We had a quick look at the responses to our questionnaire about Tuesday play next year and the results are 50/50. There are those who want to still play at night and those who would like to play afternoons. We will collate responses early in the new year and also raise the issue for discussion at the AGM in late January. I repeat what I said about this, in that the final decision will rest with you, the members.

The final session of 2016 was won by Vaun and Diana with Annette and John second and Deirdre/Peter deadheating with Priscilla/Neels.

A Blessed Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year to all of you and we’ll regather on Tuesday the 3rd January.
