The hall was hot, in fact, very hot, the same as the bridge being played.
Congratulations to that very inconsistent pair, Paul and Bridie, for finally coming out of the cold and winning for a change! Very well done.

And at the beginning we had a little chaos with the wrong Bridgemates at tables 1 and 2, with Pat and Judy mixed up with Vaun and Diana, but all is well at the end of all this, and we look forward to Saturday with great anticipation.

I’m typing this in the hall, which has now become even hotter for some reason, so I’m now going home.
